After the Easter break and we had a LOT to catch up on and to share about all things Expat. Moving season is approaching and some of your friends may have announced their departure, or maybe it’s you. We talked about the emotions and keeping in touch with friends near and far. Nikki had a very welcome visitor over Easter and in Kirsty’s house there was a very exciting announcement. We forgot the word for QR code when chatting about password apps, we might need a tech support call on password security and computer virus issues. Long discussion about teens and porn, and then we rolled into a Don’t Blow Your Dough follow up chat about the bonus episode. Nikki spoke to Sadea in E is for Edmonton.
This episode has been released in two parts.

Sighhhh. I know you guys are parents as many of us are but I am a former huge fan and now I don’t really listen because sometimes it’s nice to escape “kid talk” which is all any parents seems to get in expat life…

Hey Terry, Kirsty here – firstly thank you so much for your honesty. I’ll take your comment on board, I agree there’s definitely too much kid talk and I think I’m the culprit. You know it’s something I used to be aware of in the old days when we first started but I’ve definitely ventured into the danger zone. Do you think we should remove our section on how we’re screwing up our expat kids?
Sue
That’s so funny… I actually love the kid talk!
I’m an Aussie expat in Dallas… (We lived in Houston previously) and I have found here in Dallas that I haven’t found a expat gang quite like I had in Houston! I have a couple of lovely American girlfriends here now but obviously their concerns about screwing up their kids are a little different to mine.. I love hearing you two gorgeous birds talk about your kids and the trials and tribulations of raising kids not at ‘home’…
Just my two cents worth!!
Thankyou for giving us such a great podcast!
