Can you believe it, we’re actually back on the air. Summer was long and hot for Kirsty, with a new house and splitting her kids between countries but now she’s back on the ground in Qatar. Nikki went to Bali for a couple of weeks and for now  Hamburg is turning on the sunshine in a surprising February. The break gave us some time to re-think the podcast format and we explain it all to you in this episode so listen on.

From Kirsty’s post in the Two Fat Expat Facebook group

I’ve been away for over 10 weeks from my Doha expat life and it’s the weirdest feeling settling back in the home base. Nikki and I are due to record the podcast tomorrow (really truly this time) but I’ve of course left my microphone and headset in Australia. It’s the small things that throw you when you get back, the temperature is different – what do I wear here? What’s my pin number again? How do I start this car? How do I fill this coffee machine. Anyone else feel this way after a long time away?
