Hello and welcome to another episode of Two Fat Expats. Thank you to everyone who tunes in each week and for all your lovely reviews of the show.
This episode is all about what you’ve learnt as an expat. For many expat women, they’ve had to leave behind a career at home and have had to learn to carve out a new career for themselves in their adopted home. It may not even be a change of career, for some, expat life has given them the opportunity to learn how to run, to sew, to cook or to play Mahjong. Being an expat really does give you an opportunity to reinvent yourself, to find your passion and to try something new.
We spoke to four expat women this week on what they’ve learnt while being away. A big thank you to Inge, Michelle, Sarah and Felicity for sharing your stories.
