Welcome back to Season 3 – Episode 15 of Two Fat Expats, where we believe everyone should live a fat expat life. This week we have a special episode that may require you to have some tissues on hand before you start. Kirsty spoke to Jane Weekes about her family’s unimaginable loss, experienced in May 2012 while she and her husband Martin were living in Doha with their triplets, Lillie, Jackson and Willsher. It’s not a usual type of episode but we did (by absolutely hopeless, non-existent segue) finish it up with our regular recommendations on the web and beyond. They are below as always.

This was such an emotional episode. I think Jane is an amazing person. I am sure this episode will help someone. I cried so much listening to her. How wonderful that she has two younger children. Nikki I was also sorry to hear about the loss of your friends from Hong Kong. Let’s hope that the stigma around Counseling continues to lesson so people get help when they might need it. I will continue to binge listen to your podcast while I wait for the next one. I hope your move is going well Kirsti! ( I am American and noticed I had written Awesome three times in this comment before I went back to edit it ) Yes I think it IS an American thing. Thankful for you ladies and the work and effort you put into Two Fat Expats.
